The article is devoted to the study of English logistics terminology from a sociolinguistic point of view. Reveals its unique features. Features of the approach to the logistics and cargo transportation chain, to the analysis of the terminological lexicon, that is, to the study of the impact of various social phenomena on the development and dynamics of terminology. It is concluded that English logistics terminology is a combination of one-component terms and two-component terminological words. An important part of the English multi-component terminological units in logistics is abbreviated and used speech tools to save the language and speed up the process of professional communication.
