The article examines the features of the transition of the service sector from traditional information technologies to mobile information technologies. The author examines the development of the service sector using mobile information technologies in several directions and reveals their content. It is concluded that for further development of the service sector, a transformation towards mobility is necessary, which is provided by mobile information technologies.
