Once limited to Uzbekistan and neighboring countries, wrestling is now practiced in over 130 nations worldwide. The establishment of international organizations, inclusion in major sports events, and structured training programs have contributed to the sport's rapid growth. Additionally, various regional federations and governing bodies have played a crucial role in promoting wrestling at both grassroots and professional levels. This article explores the global development of wrestling, highlighting key milestones, international competitions, regional expansion, training initiatives, and future prospects.
