Language learners across different age groups possess distinct psycho-physiological characteristics that significantly influence their learning processes. This article explores effective teaching methods tailored to young learners, adolescents, and adults, considering their unique cognitive, emotional, and physical attributes. Young learners benefit from play-based, sensory-driven activities due to their high neuroplasticity and reliance on imagination. Adolescents thrive in collaborative and real-life contexts, leveraging their developing abstract thinking and social identity. Adults, with their goal-oriented motivation and life experiences, excel in structured, practical lessons that accommodate their cognitive flexibility and time constraints. The article emphasizes the importance of aligning teaching strategies with age-specific features, such as, neuroplasticity, motivation, and memory systems - to create enriching and effective language-learning experiences for all.
