Abstract

This article analyzes the artistic forms of humorous works and their diversity. The role of techniques such as satire, parody, grotesque, and ironic storytelling in literature is examined, along with the formation and evolution of humorous genres across different historical periods. A comparative approach is used to explore how these genres manifest in Western and Eastern literature. Additionally, the artistic devices, character development techniques, and the aesthetic and social functions of humorous works are discussed. Through an analysis of various forms of the humorous genre, including short stories and novels, the literary significance of humor is highlighted.
