This article analyzes the impact of AI-based tools on English language learning and assessment. Artificial intelligence technologies are driving significant changes in language education by enabling personalized learning, integrating interactive materials, and automating assessment systems. The study examines various academic sources to evaluate the advantages and limitations of AI-based tools and discusses their effective integration into the educational process. The findings indicate that AI-powered tools play a crucial role in enhancing students' vocabulary, improving grammatical and writing skills, and strengthening independent learning abilities. Additionally, these technologies provide real-time feedback and facilitate automated assessment of students’ proficiency levels. Compared to traditional evaluation methods, AI-driven assessment tools stand out for their accuracy and efficiency. However, for these technologies to be used effectively, they must be harmonized with pedagogical approaches, and educators need adequate technological training. The discussion highlights that while the implementation of AI-based tools enhances the efficiency of language learning, the role of human instructors remains vital. The article provides essential recommendations for integrating AI technologies into education and emphasizes the need for further comprehensive studies on improving their effectiveness and ensuring their appropriate pedagogical application.
