SCIENTIFIC APPROACHES TO THE ANALYSIS OF THE STAGES OF DEVELOPMENT OF CORPORATE GOVERNANCE IN THE REPUBLIC OF UZBEKISTAN

The strategy of actions for the further development of the Republic of Uzbekistan specifically defines the issue of "implementation of modern standards and methods of corporate governance, strengthening the role of shareholders in the strategic management of enterprises." In this regard, priority attention is paid to such aspects as increasing the efficiency of the corporate governance system, ensuring disclosure of information and transparency of activities in joint-stock companies, protecting the rights of shareholders, including minority shareholders. It should be noted here that these aspects are of particular importance in ensuring the investment attractiveness of joint-stock companies in our country.
