Abstract

This study critically examines speech manipulation as a strategic mechanism for exerting influence across diverse communicative contexts. It delineates the linguistic and psychological methodologies employed to subtly recalibrate cognitive frameworks, emotional responses, and behavioral inclinations—particularly within political rhetoric, mass media, commercial advertising, and interpersonal discourse. The research further interrogates the ethical ramifications of such manipulative tactics and underscores the imperative for cultivating critical acumen to discern and counteract covert linguistic influence.
